Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for lifting the emergency rule in Rivers State, describing the decision as a victory for democracy and peace.
According to Mediaplusng.com, Wike said the President’s swift intervention restored democratic governance in the state and prevented further political instability. He noted that Tinubu’s leadership continues to reassure Nigerians of his commitment to national unity and democratic values.
In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, the FCT Minister stressed that the President’s action has renewed the confidence of Rivers people in his administration. He also commended residents for their trust in Tinubu and their support for his efforts to steer Nigeria back to growth and development.
