The Governor of Adamawa State, who serves as the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention Committee, and the Governor of Plateau State, who chairs the Protocol Sub-Committee, are meeting with members of various convention committees at the PDP Legacy House in Abuja.
According to Mediaplusng.com, the meeting focuses on receiving updates on ongoing preparations for the party’s highly anticipated national convention scheduled for November this year. The governors are leading discussions to ensure smooth coordination and proper organization ahead of the event.
Meanwhile, Mediaplusng.com reports that several convention sub-committees have been holding regular meetings and showing strong optimism for a successful convention, despite controversies surrounding congresses in Cross River and Plateau States, as well as the resolution of the executive committee issue in Akwa Ibom State.
Party leaders say the upcoming convention will play a key role in shaping the future of the PDP as it works to strengthen internal democracy and unity ahead of future elections.
