The Federal Government has approved uniform sale prices for housing units under its Renewed Hope Estate Programme, a move aimed at promoting fairness and affordability for Nigerians across all states.
According to the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, the Renewed Hope Estates feature one-, two-, and three-bedroom semi-detached bungalows designed to help more Nigerians become homeowners. The initiative is part of the government’s broader plan to expand access to affordable housing nationwide.
The approved prices for the Renewed Hope Housing units are:
₦8.5 million for a one-bedroom semi-detached bungalow
₦11.5 million for a two-bedroom semi-detached bungalow
₦12.5 million for a three-bedroom semi-detached bungalow
In a statement obtained by Mediaplusng.com, the Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, says the uniform pricing system will ensure transparency and equal access to all qualified Nigerians. He adds that priority will be given to low- and middle-income earners, civil servants, private sector employees with verifiable income, and Nigerians in the Diaspora who wish to own homes back home.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Shuaib Belgore, also notes that several flexible payment options have been introduced to make ownership easier. These include outright purchase, mortgage financing, rent-to-own schemes, and installment payment plans.
The Ministry confirms that the sale of completed housing units in both the northern and southern regions will commence soon. Interested Nigerians can apply through the official Renewed Hope Housing portal at www.renewedhopehomes.fmhud.gov.ng or visit the Ministry’s headquarters and field offices nationwide.
With this step, the Federal Government reinforces its Renewed Hope Agenda, focusing on inclusive housing development and improved living standards for all Nigerians.
