Kwara Police Boss Visits Eruku After Security Attack

The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, CP Adekimi Ojo, is currently in Eruku community, Ekiti Local Government Area, for an on-the-spot security assessment after reports of fresh security concerns.

According to Mediaplusng.com, the CP arrives in the community and is received by the Divisional Police Officer, Eruku, and other tactical commanders. They immediately review the security situation and coordinate a response plan to protect lives and property.

The CP also visits the palace of the Owa of Eruku Land, His Royal Highness Oba Busari Ayinde Oyediran Olarenwaju, Amuludunloye I, where he meets the royal father, the State Director of DSS, Mr. Michael Oganwu, and other senior officers. The monarch welcomes the team, expresses regret over the attack, and appeals for more security personnel to protect his people.
Mediaplusng.com reports that the royal father praises the visit and calls for urgent action.

CP Ojo then meets with community leaders, vigilante groups, and residents to obtain firsthand information and to reassure them of the Command’s strong commitment to security.

The security team also visits Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Isegun, where the resident pastor, Mr. Bamidele, narrates how the attack happened and takes the CP around the affected areas.

The Commissioner of Police is now leading a strategic review of the incident, ensuring proper deployment of officers and resources to rescue victims, arrest suspects, and restore public confidence in Eruku community.
