The Lagos State Police Command celebrates Nigeria Police Women @ 70 with a series of activities honoring female officers and promoting community engagement.
Mediaplusng.com reports that female officers, led by ACP Mary Ayim, AC Administration, visit retired senior officers including Rtd DIG Florence Adebanjo, the first female CP of Western Port Lagos, and Rtd DIG Cecilia Adebisi Ugowe, the first Force Secretary. The visits highlight the legacy and achievements of women in the police force.
The officers also visit Onike Girls Junior High School, Sabo, Yaba, where they conduct outreach programs on self-awareness, mental health, career guidance, gender-based violence, and confidence building.
