The Kebbi State Government relocates the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp from Dakingari in Suru Local Government Area to Basaura in Jega Local Government Area over security concerns. The move aims to ensure the safety of corps members during the ongoing orientation exercise.
According to Mediaplusng.com, the State Commissioner of Police, Bello Sani, assures heightened security at the new camp, describing the relocation as a “proactive approach to protecting corps members.” Sani visits the camp with his management team and urges all security personnel to remain vigilant, work in teams, and observe their surroundings at all times.
“You must maintain maximum alertness and avoid complacency,” he tells officers during an operational briefing. “Inter-agency cooperation is key. Support each other, strengthen collaboration with camp officials, and guarantee a safe environment for our corps members.”
