The President describes the late jurist as an outstanding legal mind, disciplined administrator, and committed public servant who dedicates most of his life to the service of justice and the strengthening of Nigeria’s judicial system, Mediaplusng.com reports. Justice Tanko Muhammad serves as Chief Justice of Nigeria from 2019 to 2022 after a long and distinguished career on the Bench.
President Tinubu notes that Justice Tanko’s rise to the highest judicial office reflects years of integrity, courage, and firm commitment to the rule of law. He says the former CJN discharges his duties with diligence and fairness, earning respect within the judiciary and beyond.
According to Mediaplusng.com, the President acknowledges the lasting contributions of the late Chief Justice to the development of Nigeria’s legal system, stressing that his impact remains evident in judicial reforms and in the many legal practitioners he mentored throughout his career.
