The President noted that General Abubakar’s continued efforts as Chairman of the National Peace Committee have been vital to ensuring peace, credible elections, and national dialogue. He applauded the retired general for always promoting unity, moderation, and good governance in Nigeria and across Africa.
President Tinubu also highlighted the former Head of State’s strong commitment to the nation’s stability and described him as a man of integrity who remains a voice of reason in critical times.
As General Abubakar marks another year, the President wished him good health, strength, and God’s grace, while recognizing his enduring legacy in shaping a better Nigeria.
