Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has confirmed the arrest of 22 suspects linked to the brutal killing of 12 Kaduna indigenes during a wedding attack in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State last Saturday.
Governor Sani made this disclosure during his visit to the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna, where he met with the surviving victims currently receiving medical treatment.
Describing the attack as barbaric and senseless, the Governor expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and assured that the Kaduna State Government is working closely with Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure all perpetrators face justice.
He commended Kaduna residents for remaining calm and peaceful despite the tragic incident and called on community and political leaders to discourage their people from engaging in violence.
