The Benue State Caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the National Assembly has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office, citing his developmental impact on the state.
Led by Senator Titus Zam, the caucus comprising two senators and ten House of Representatives members praised President Tinubu for what they described as “unprecedented” infrastructure projects, economic support, and a strengthened federal presence across Benue.
The lawmakers also lauded the president’s response to the state’s security challenges, acknowledging the increased deployment of personnel and resources to troubled areas. They however urged Governor Hyacinth Alia to deepen collaboration with the federal government to consolidate the gains and ensure lasting peace.
With this move, the Benue APC Caucus becomes the first legislative group in the 10th National Assembly to publicly back President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election.
