The family of Nigeria’s late President, Muhammadu Buhari, presents a new book titled From Soldier to Statesman: The Legacy of Muhammadu Buhari, offering a comprehensive account of his journey, leadership style, and impact on national development.
According to Mediaplusng.com, the book presentation takes place at the Banquet Hall of the State House, Abuja, drawing dignitaries from across Nigeria and beyond to honour the memory and legacy of the former President.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu attends the event alongside his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, while Gambian President Adama Barrow also joins other prominent guests. The gathering includes state governors, members of the National Assembly, party leaders, former and serving service chiefs who worked with Buhari, as well as close family members.
Mediaplusng.com reports that the book reflects on Buhari’s transition from a military officer to a democratic leader, highlighting his years of public service, commitment to discipline, and influence on Nigeria’s political history.
The unveiling serves both as a tribute and a historical record, preserving the legacy of Muhammadu Buhari for future generations while sparking renewed conversations about leadership, governance, and nation-building in Nigeria.
