Delta Commissioner Hails Tinubu’s Brazil Visit, Says Delta Poised for Growth

Delta State Commissioner for Economic Planning, Sonny Akporokiamo Ekedayen, has described President Bola Tinubu’s recent State Visit to Brazil as a strategic move that will not only strengthen national ties but also unlock new opportunities for Delta State’s economic growth.

According to Mediaplusng.com, the commissioner noted that Nigeria and Brazil share strong historical and cultural similarities. With Brazil ranked as the world’s 10th largest economy, he said the partnership could bring major benefits, especially as Delta State aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the target of achieving a $1 trillion economy by 2030.

“Our engagements here have been very insightful,” Ekedayen stated.
“We are uncovering practical ways to strengthen Delta’s economy, create jobs, and improve operations back home.”

Speaking further, the commissioner told Mediaplusng.com that sub-nationals like Delta State have a critical role to play in achieving Nigeria’s long-term economic goals. He stressed that Delta is fully committed to contributing meaningfully to the country’s growth story by leveraging opportunities that arise from international partnerships.
