Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining ongoing development projects across the state. He made this promise while addressing supporters at a political event in Irrua, Esan Central Local Government Area.
The event, held at the Okaijesan Hall, was organized to welcome new defectors into the All Progressives Congress (APC). Governor Okpebholo assured the people of Edo that his administration would not relent in driving progress and delivering on campaign promises, adding that the overwhelming trust placed in him would not be taken for granted.
He also praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, stating that the federal government’s developmental efforts in Edo State have started yielding results. He expressed confidence that these visible achievements would boost public support for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
APC leader in Edo Central Senatorial District, retired Major General Cecil Esekhaigbe, welcomed the new members and assured them of equal opportunities within the party. He emphasized the APC’s readiness to carry everyone along as it builds momentum ahead of future elections.
