The State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu, while presenting cash prizes to the winners, commended their dedication and outstanding performance. He emphasized that the administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo remains fully committed to promoting academic excellence and supporting young talents across the state.
The awardees, Alika Osezele, Isaac Karen, and Henry Johnson Onyekachukwu, were presented with cash rewards of ₦100,000, ₦150,000, and ₦200,000 respectively. Dr. Iyamu described them as shining examples of the academic potential within Edo schools.
He reaffirmed that Governor Okpebholo’s administration will continue to encourage students through similar reward systems and educational support initiatives aimed at nurturing future leaders.
