Senator Tinubu, accompanied by the Wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, and the Wife of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hajia Fatima Tajudeen Abass, was warmly received by Dr Aisha Buhari. The two shared a heartfelt embrace, symbolising mutual respect, friendship, and solidarity during a period of national mourning.
Other dignitaries present included the Wife of the Kwara State Governor, Amb. Dr Olufolake Abdulrasaq, and the Wife of the Kaduna State Governor, Hajia Hafsat Uba Sanni. The delegation expressed their deepest condolences to the Buhari family, describing the late president as a statesman whose legacy would endure in Nigeria’s history.
