Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to citizen engagement and national development, describing the President’s leadership as bold and reform-driven.
Speaking during a recent event, Governor Mbah told Mediaplusng.com that President Tinubu’s visit to Enugu reflects not only a deep sense of public trust but also the close collaboration between the state and the federal government in driving progress. He noted that such engagements strengthen democracy and foster inclusive governance.
The Governor further explained that several landmark projects currently ongoing in Enugu State would not have been possible without the President’s decisive policy reforms, particularly the removal of fuel subsidy—a move he described as both courageous and timely in redirecting resources to critical sectors.
According to Mediaplusng.com, Governor Mbah reeled out some of his administration’s major achievements, including the construction of 260 Smart Green Schools equipped with world-class facilities, the establishment of 260 Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres across all local government areas, provision of incentives for farmers, and the empowerment of 8.8 million people across 8,800 wards in the state. He also acknowledged the concessioning of Akanu Ibiam International Airport as a significant milestone.
Governor Mbah reaffirmed Enugu State’s unwavering commitment to supporting the success of the Tinubu administration, stressing that sustainable partnerships between states and the federal government remain key to national growth
