Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has approved the immediate removal of Professor Muhammad Sani-Bello from his position as Commissioner for Information.

The announcement was made on Tuesday through a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibraheem Musa. In the statement, the Governor confirmed the appointment of Ahmed Maiyaki, the current Managing Director of the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC), as the new Commissioner for Information.

Professor Sani-Bello, who has served in dual capacities as the pioneer Commissioner of Education in the Sani administration and later as Commissioner of Information, was commended for his contributions to the state. The Governor extended his best wishes to Professor Sani-Bello in his future endeavors.

Maiyaki’s appointment is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the state’s information management, given his extensive experience in media and public communications.

This change marks part of Governor Sani’s ongoing efforts to reposition key ministries for more effective service delivery across Kaduna State.
