The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has petitioned the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) to investigate and prosecute popular Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, over an alleged breach of aviation safety protocols.
Mediaplusng.com reports that the incident occurred on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, aboard ValueJet Flight VK201, and has sparked serious concerns within the aviation sector. According to preliminary findings, the artist was allegedly involved in conduct that contravenes the Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations (Nig. CARs) 2023.
In a formal letter to both the AGF and the IGP, the NCAA requested a criminal investigation and prosecution, stressing the need for strict enforcement of aviation laws to protect the integrity and safety of Nigeria’s airspace.
In a related development, Capt. Chris Najomo, Director General of Civil Aviation, has issued an advisory to the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) recommending the immediate consideration of a No-Fly List for K1 De Ultimate, pending the outcome of the investigations.
This move, according to Mediaplusng.com, aligns with international aviation standards, which emphasize that passenger behavior must not compromise flight safety, regardless of the individual’s status or public image.
The NCAA reaffirmed its zero-tolerance stance on behavior that threatens aviation operations, stating that all passengers must comply fully with safety rules and conduct expectations.
Further updates will be provided by Mediaplusng.com as the investigation unfolds.
