The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, extends warm New Year greetings to residents, urging unity, hard work, and sustained patriotism as his administration intensifies efforts to deliver people-focused governance in 2026.

He emphasized that the state’s progress was achieved through discipline, citizen cooperation, and a shared commitment to development.
The governor highlighted gains in security, infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and youth and women empowerment. “Despite challenges, Kogi State recorded significant progress across key sectors, and the New Year brings renewed hope and stronger resolve to do more,” he said.
