Nigeria Finalizes Emergency Evacuation Plans for Citizens in Israel and Iran, Calls for End to Hostilities

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced that it is making final arrangements to evacuate Nigerian citizens stranded in Israel and Iran due to the rising tensions between both countries.

In a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all Nigerians affected by the ongoing crisis are urged to follow security guidelines and immediately reach out to the nearest Nigerian Embassy in Tel Aviv or Tehran for registration and further instructions.

The Ministry commended the efforts of Nigerian missions in Israel and Iran for their swift response and continued engagement with Nigerian communities in both countries.

The Nigerian government also reassured the public of its full commitment to the safety and well-being of its citizens, both at home and abroad. Authorities are working closely with international partners and local officials to ensure a safe and timely evacuation.

Meanwhile, Nigeria has again called for an immediate ceasefire, urging all parties involved in the conflict to embrace peace, protect civilians, and uphold international humanitarian law.

The government emphasized its unwavering support for peaceful conflict resolution and reaffirmed its dedication to regional and global peace and security.
