Mediaplusng.com reports that the Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF) and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has expressed deep sadness over the passing of elder statesman and former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, who died on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the age of 78.
In a heartfelt condolence message on behalf of all Northern Governors, Governor Yahaya described Chief Ogbeh as “a towering political figure, a statesman of uncommon intellect, and an iconic son of Northern Nigeria” who dedicated his life to public service and national development.
