President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received the President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The Sierra Leonean leader arrived at the Villa on Friday evening and was warmly welcomed with full presidential honors.
According to Mediaplusng.com, President Bio’s visit comes ahead of his participation as a guest speaker at Baze University’s 12th Convocation Ceremony in Abuja. His arrival underscores the deepening diplomatic ties between Nigeria and Sierra Leone, two key nations in the West African subregion.
In a post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, President Bio confirmed that his visit is both academic and economic. He revealed that aside from his university engagement, he will also meet with leading African business figures to discuss ways to promote regional growth and investment.
