Sixteen Local Government Chairmen in Taraba State are resigning from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as they align themselves with Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas, who is preparing to join the All Progressives Congress (APC). The chairmen, led by Hon. (Dr.) Aminu Jauro Hassan, say they are standing firmly with the Governor because of his vision, leadership style, and commitment to peace and development.

They also note that the political atmosphere in the state is changing rapidly, and they want to follow a direction they believe holds promise for growth.

They add that their loyalty to the Governor is growing stronger because he consistently demonstrates a clear plan for Taraba’s future.
