Mediaplusng.com reports that Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Senator Hope Uzodimma, has pledged the unwavering support of the Forum to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, as he leads the affairs of the ruling party.
In a statement personally signed to mark Prof. Yilwatda’s birthday, Governor Uzodimma described the APC Chairman as a “born leader” whose early promise has matured into exceptional national leadership.
Quoting a popular adage, Uzodimma said: “The chick that will grow into a cock is known the day it hatches. A goldfish has no hiding place. And just like the mustard seed that grows into a great tree, your early promise has blossomed into national leadership.”
Mediaplusng.com reports that the PGF Chairman commended Yilwatda’s impressive achievements in academia, public administration, and politics, describing his rise to lead Africa’s largest political party as “a round peg in a round hole.”
He expressed confidence that Yilwatda would bring innovative, top-tier, and progressive ideas to strengthen and transform the APC into an even more formidable political force.
“Rest assured of our unflinching support as you discharge this national duty with wisdom and courage,” Uzodimma assured.
While congratulating the APC Chairman on his birthday, the Governor prayed for God’s continued blessings, protection, and good health for Prof. Yilwatda.
