Vice President Kashim Shettima has called on Nigerians to promote national unity and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to achieve peace, security, and prosperity.
Speaking during the Eid al-Adha prayers held at the National Eid Ground, Airport Road, Abuja, the Vice President urged citizens to rise above ethnic and religious differences and work together for Nigeria’s progress.
He emphasized that Eid al-Adha is a time of reflection, sacrifice, and compassion, reminding Nigerians of the values of obedience and unity as shown in the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim.
> “This season reminds us to support one another, to extend kindness to the needy, and to build bridges of unity. As a nation, we can go further together when we stand as one,” Shettima said.
Highlighting the importance of teamwork in nation-building, VP Shettima encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful and focused despite current challenges.
> “Let us support President Tinubu’s vision. What unites us is greater than what divides us. With unity and shared sacrifice, we will overcome insecurity, poverty, and other national challenges,” he added.
He assured Nigerians that with continued cooperation, the country is on the right path toward lasting peace and development.
