Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has paid a condolence visit to the Darul Jamal Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) resettlement community following a recent violent attack that left dozens dead.
According to a report by Mediaplusng.com, the governor confirmed that 63 people, including five soldiers, lost their lives in the tragic incident. He described the attack as a painful loss for both the community and the state, assuring families of the victims that government will not abandon them in this difficult time.
Zulum further pledged full government support for the displaced families, including provisions for food supplies, medical aid, and improved security measures to prevent a recurrence.
