Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has expressed confidence in the ability of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to secure electoral victories across various levels of government in the 2027 general elections.
The governor declared that the party was prepared to overcome political challenges and deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for another term in office.
Governor Eno made the declaration while addressing party supporters and stakeholders, expressing optimism about the APC’s electoral ambitions ahead of the 2027 polls.
According to him, the party is determined to secure victories not only at the presidential level but also in the National Assembly and across Akwa Ibom State.
He specifically expressed confidence that the APC would return the Senate President and all its senators to the National Assembly, alongside members of the House of Representatives.
The governor also declared his intention to lead efforts towards securing another term in office, saying the party would work to return him to the Hilltop Mansion, the Akwa Ibom State Government House.
He further expressed confidence that APC candidates would secure seats in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.
In his words:
“We are well able, come 2027, to deliver President Bola Tinubu, GCFR, as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We are well able to overcome every challenge and deliver all our candidates.
“We will deliver the Senate President and all our senators back to the National Assembly. We will deliver all our members of the House of Representatives back to the National Assembly.
“We are well able to return this Governor to the Hilltop Mansion in Akwa Ibom State. We are well able to deliver all our members of the State House of Assembly. We are well able!”
The declaration signals Governor Eno’s stated commitment to the APC’s 2027 electoral objectives and the party’s ambition to consolidate its political presence in Akwa Ibom State.
As preparations for the 2027 general elections gradually take shape, attention will be on how the party translates its declarations into political mobilisation, organisation and engagement with voters.
Ultimately, the 2027 elections will provide the electorate with the opportunity to decide the political future of the country and the leadership of Akwa Ibom State.
